This visual representation of the neighbourhood really helps to illustrate the effect of the economic downturn on this one small area. Clicking on the red shaded houses on the map opens a window with further details of the house address, the foreclosure date and the loan amount.

I hope those who see "red" take the time to use this mashup to actually look at the data underlying each "red" lot/house. It is amazing how many happened in 2006, EARLY and late, contrary to the USA TODAY article. I hope those who see "red" do this extra bit of digging to see that the "facts" may not fit the current story explaining the "mortgage crisis."
You talk like a high risk mortgage lender that is sore about the loss of income you might have observed lately.
wow each one of these red dots is a crackhouse-to-be... or of more concern to me, an address were fraudsters can pickup their stolen goods.
