Geo developer Virender Ajmani has tipped off Google Maps Mania to the fact that recently added street, roads and points of interest for India, Hong Kong and Singapore are now visible to those sites using the Google Maps API. Previously this map data was viewable only Google Maps.

Well the street data was added (see the links to my previous posts above) but for those creating Google Maps mashups the same data wasn't available to them.
I wonder when Google would be able to provide navigational maps in India...I'm not even sure if that would be possible as the streets are not documented properly !
