A Google Maps way to use Expedia and Orbitz

Here's a new mashup for travelers looking to visually find deals from some of popular online travel booking sites. It's called DailyTripDeals and it works by mashing up data from RSS feeds on Expedia and Orbitz. Trip, flight, hotel and car deals as well as vacation packages are extracted from the feeds and plotted by location on a Google Map... daily. Currently US cities are included, along with London, UK. The geo-developers (Abe & Jess) behind this travel mashup note that "..packages are constantly coming and going so we figured it would be useful if we were able to capture this information on a daily basis and map it for public consumption." More locations and feeds from some of the big airlines are expected soon.

I wonder if people know that big travel agencies like EXPEDIA and Orbitz have a lot of complaints. EXPEDIA is listed in the top ripoff link at the bad business bureau ( http://www.ripoffreport.com ) and has two “dedicated” websites due to poor customer support and lies: http://www.victimsofexpedia.com and http://www.shameonexpedia.com
Orbitz has: http://www.shameonorbitz.com
Kind regards

If you're looking for a real nice airfare search engine, look no further than Kayak. It focuses on the search and not on trying to trick you into a 'special' that doesn't really end up saving money. They're always my first stop for airfare searching.

Another nice place to find the best deals is Trabber. A search engine that aggregate content from many web sites.
