Unlike Brazil, Argentina is not a country that enjoys Google street and road maps on Google Maps yet. That hasn't stopped Dalton over at OhBuenosaires.com from creating a cool virtual tour of his vibrant and exciting world city. Select a district from the menu the top of the map, then view photos at each location for reference. Most of the mashup is in Spanish but you can still navigate and explore the map and photos without needing to understand the language. It has been almost a year since this post, yet there still isn't a streent map of Buenos Aires available on Google Maps... :(
I could have sworn that detailed maps of Argentina used to be on google.....what happened?
google maps are broken. I emaild them several times telling them that there was a detailed map of argentina last week and now it's broken......those idiots don;t evan check their email!
Google maps Argentina a fiasco?
According to Alberto Arebalos in an interview five months ago (http://tecnologia.infobaeprofesional.com/notas/62059-Llegan-las-versiones-argentinas-de-YouTube-y-Google-Maps.html), Google maps for Argentina would be launched by the first half of this year, well... July is almost gone and nothing happened, besides, I'm getting tired of excuses from Google. Should we try pushing MSN or other companies to get what we need?
Please, stop talking and do something about it.
I'm pretty tired of waiting google maps in argentina. Latest oficial news was they were looking for a good map supplier. Clarin.com has a great platform for maps. What if they just hire those guys ?
