When I last did my Italian roundup back in December '05 I could only find 2 Google Maps mashups for Italy. This was before street mapping was available for Europe and only satellite maps existed. Now more mashups have surfaced and I'm back with a roundup of all known Google Maps mashups for the country of Italy. Know of another one not mentioned? Add to this list by posting a comment! Venice Google Maps Mashup - Here is a great English language Google Maps mashup for the city of Venice, Italy. I made many GoogleMaps about Italy (only written in italian).
For the city of Turin there are maps about Winter Olympic, Subway, restaurants, Webcams.
There are also maps about Football (Stadium, also for Germany),
and about all the Italian Regions.
Into the "info windows" there are links to other websites giving informations (as images, photos, data,... taken from wikipidia, google,flickr, and so on.)

Well this mash-up is not quite ready for prime time but I don't want to be left behind on this page about Italy!
We integrated an antique map of Città di Castello, and we plotted damage data from an earthquake damage survey taken in the same period.

beware: the final infowindows still need to be styled, everything else should be in place.
Given the spatial scale in the original map and survey, we added 2 extra zoom levels to the standard Google's one; this is probably the most interesting thing about the mash-up for other developers!
