Stanford Campus Map goes Google

Stanford University in Palo Alto, California has used the Google Maps API to create a unique map of the campus. The map interface uses the traditional Google Maps look but adds an additional "Stanford" layer. This allows you to toggle between or view a campus map that is overlaid on top of the regular Google street and satellite maps. This is a great idea for any type of campus in the world! [via]

Too bad they were unable to rectify the campus map to the google tiles - or does this expose the inherent lack of geographic controls in google?
