A Google Map that Google Maps Mania played a part in creating is up for a Webby Award! DaveLovesElizabeth.com was created by Dave Garr when proposing to his girlfriend Elizabeth last October. The site brought together a rap music video, audio slide show, and of course - a Google Map of significant locations for the two of them. The site attracted quite a buzz on the blogosphere when it was posted. Now it's nominated for a Webby in the Personal Web Site category. That's not the only site with a mashup nominated for a Webby. GovTrack, also a Webby nominee, has a mashup for locating your U.S. Congressional District. So in the Politics category vote for GovTrack.
