The link works, but nothing happens on click...
I am surprised that this mash-up took this long to be conceived. It was like a quite logic application of the G Maps API.
Just testing, took a screenshot of the view above the London Central Mosque. Slightly wrong alignement, it seems.
If you look at the center of the map (or if you click anywhere in the map) there is/appears a polyline. The angle changes as you pan around. This polyline points to Mecca. Pan to Saudi Arabia and you will get a better idea, how this works. Very interesting piece of work.
Now I know which direction to flip the bird.
