In the person maps, you cannot search for people in NY state. When NY is selected, the program automatically enters 'NEW YORK' in the city text box and it only shows results in NYC.
Another website I found very interesting to get google co-ordinates for important world places is ExploreGE.com (http://www.explorege.com)

The site does not display the tracking information accurately. I tried DHL tracking and it shows info from a shipment that was completed in 2001! It may have had the same tracking number as the current one, but the DHL website shows the current one.
