Did anyone else think "GoogleMapsMashup!" when they heard NPR's piece on the National Grid today? Basically, it was about how useful the National Grid (http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/TOOLS/usng.html) was in New Orleans for getting helicopters to street addresses. An obvious conclusion from the story is that in the case of any other emergency, having the national grid printed on all our maps would be very helpful. Thanks to Google, we don't need to wait for the printing companies. How about it? Has anyone already done this? If not, you're up!
