YourGMap lets your create your own Google Map in minutes - YourGMap joins the list of sites that allow you to build your own Google Map without having coding knowledge or register for the Google Maps API. The interface is very easy to use and there is extensive customization of map markers, map views and locations (includes latitude and longitude for those countries which do not have street maps). This is a great addition to the Google Maps world to encourage everyone to create their own Google Map! (Don't forget one of the originals: MapBuilder.net in the same category)
Embed a Google Map in your Movable Type blog posts - The Map Room has tipped us off on a plugin that allows you to embed a Google Map in your blog posts if you're using the Movable Type blog publishing platform. [via]
PHP Google Maps GuestMap Script - Chris over at Thompson Business Designs has created a Guest Map script written in PHP that uses the Google Maps API. Check it out here.

LandMarker - This project enables you to upload a NMEA file or GPX file with logged track data and visualize it dynamically. The tracks are stored in a database and when you import digital pictures created with a modern digital camera, it is possible to automatically couple the pictures with the track. When you zoom in or out, the resolution of the visible track will dynamically increase or decrease, allowing big logs to be visualized. Both the English and Dutch version supports NMEA and GPX uploading. Examples: [An visualized imported NMEA file]
GPS Visualizer - This form will automatically overlay your data on street maps and satellite imagery in Google Maps.
Interact with visitors to your website using Mapissimo & Google Maps - Mapissimo
offers a new way to communicate with people visiting your website. Create a Google Map for yourself and see live visitors to your web site on the map. To set up a map for your site, copy/paste one single TAG into your homepage.

The Landmarks site is primarily in Dutch. The English version is secondary and doesn't support photo uploads. I tried uploading a couple of GPX tracks: they wouldn't display, generating only an error message. Perhaps it really only does NMEA format?
Short answer on the GPX:
-----------------------
The site does support GPX data and NMEA data, but ignores invalid data without warning. This will be corrected if the poster provides me with the GPX files.
More information:
The digital camera picture placement functionality (in the dutch version) requires time information to be present in the GPX file for each track point. if it isn't the track points are ignored. This is what probably happened. I will either remove the dependency on the time information in the english version, or warn the user about the problem (and guide them perhaps to gpsvisualizer.com)
Answer on the language support:
-------------------------------
The placement of digital picture is only in the dutch version, since I don't know a free internet service in english that supports uploading of camera pictures and allow other sites to deeplink to them or embed the pictures (as landmarker.nl requires).
Probably these english photoalbum, sites exist, so email me the site and I will study it.

PHP Google Maps Guest Script: I get the following error at line 930:
missing ; before statement
thanks
Check back at guestMap's website. The one problem I am still having is error checking entered comments for math symbols. They destroy the map and it looks like someone entered a comment with a - in it.
If anyone has any suggestions for fixing this problem I would appreciate it. Thanks.
Another Update on Landmarker.nl:
1. I fixed a bug in the GPX parser, that didn't accept US coordinates
(surprise, surprise, another part of the world has more digits in their coordinates ...)
2. I added support to accept GPSBabel GPX files
3. Further I am planning to add picture import and placement in the english version aswell. So check back in a couple of weeks, or drop me an email if you want to be kept informed, email: dtromp@dds.nl
