X-Maps.com lets you find physical landmarks on Google Maps - X-Maps mashes up a database of rivers, mountains, hotsprings, water falls and other geo-landmarks with a Google Maps front end. The database includes 1.8 million records.

X-Maps uses the same public database results that Clocations.com, but displaying less information (Clocations provides lat and lon), and not citing the source. Clocations is more elegant, and says that data are public, from the USGS Geographic Names Information System.
