Real-time, live Google News Map
Last week I told you about a Google News + Google Maps mashup that takes stories from Google News categories and plots them on a Google Map. The map pins are based on the location of the server that is hosting the news story. The creator of the mashup has informed us that there is a real-time, live version of this mashup which automatically places the pin and centers the map as soon as the story is indexed in the Google News web service. The mashup allows you use the Google News service for US, UK, Canada, India, and Australia. Check it out here. Leave the map for a few seconds to watch the news stories update in live time.
