Maps = Job MappingMonster.com has joined the likes of SimplyHired.com by adding Google Maps functionality to their online job search website. On the Monster.com (US) site when you perform a job search you'll be greeted with the following option at the top of your list of jobs results:

When you click this "Map Results" function, you are then given a Google Map with the location of each job mapped out for you:

It appears that only the US site has this functionality currently. I'm not sure why Monster.ca in Canada doesn't have this enabled since it pulls from the same North American Google mapping data as its US counterpart does. Monster.ca should be following in the slipstream of this development effort by bringing the Canadian online job search space something similar to what Monster.com has done.

I'm not here to cause any sort of ruckus, as this is a "Google Maps" website, but I'd like you guys to check out maps.a9.com, I was really impressed when I found it, but instead of doing satellite imagery they are doing actual photos at the location.
Something to check out, and as I said, I'm not looking to start any problems with a google vs. a9 war or anything.
Please note another site that has been using Job Mapping using Google Maps is Jobs4Careers - an Australian site for Pharmacy Jobs.
See it at: http://www.practice4sale.com.au/job/mapsearch.php
Is it really that convenient to use mapping when searching for a job? Because I may be wrong but do not see there are so many advantages.
