Tag locations and share with Platial - Platial, which is still in a "preview mode" is a new Google Maps enabled site that allows you tag locations on a Google Map and share them with others. The 3 tabbed info-balloons that this mashup displays for you when you click on a pin contains an enormous amount of user-options such as link, send, blogview and RSS for that particular pin/tag.

Check out www.wildindia.org/birds
Its a site which shows all the records of bird sightings in India. The mashup gives a nice distribution map of every bird species. A great tool that can revolutionise Indian Ornithology.
